The University of Nebraska Medical Center has four separate campuses. The main campus is located in Omaha while the UNMC College of Nursing has campuses in Lincoln, Scottsbluff, and Kearney. Lincoln’s campus for UNMC also holds the College of Dentistry. In 2008 3,149 students were enrolled to learn from the 564 current staff members. UNMC’s mission statement is, “To improve the health of Nebraska through premier educational programs, innovative research, the highest quality patient care and outreach to underserved populations.”
