The University of Nebraska-Lincoln has approximately 25,000 students enrolled, 18,000 of these students being undergraduates. In May of 2009 the University congratulated 2,400 students with degrees. These degrees included many from the 150 bachelor majors and 275 programs of studies offered at UNL. The graduate options include 75 master’s degree programs and 38 doctoral degree programs. UNL has two campuses located in Lincoln; together they staff 1,534 making the campus a 16:1 student to faculty ratio. “The role of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln as the primary intellectual and cultural resource for the State is fulfilled through the three missions of the University: teaching, research, and service.”
